Lake Guntersville is located near the Tennessee River in beautiful Northeast Alabama. It is part of Guntersville State Park. With 75 miles to enjoy, Lake Guntersville is the largest lake in Alabama. Lake Guntersville is open from sunrise to sunset. The beach and swimming areas are maintained daily and can be accessed for a small day-use fee. The lake is known for bass fishing but is also home to catfish, crappie, and bluegill.
